# Coworking

We want to give every team member at Meilisearch the possibility to work outside of their homes if they want to. If you don’t have an easy access to the office in Paris to do so, Meilisearch will reimburse your coworking expenses up to 500€ per month.

Keep the invoices or the receipts and upload those as expenses on Payfit (French contracts) or Oyster (international contracts). If you’re not sure how to submit those, see Expense policy.

This means you will advance the money and Meilisearch will then reimburse you at the end of the month.

If you can pay by card, you can also use Spendesk: clear this with your manager first.


🔮 Managers, it’s up to you to check and approve these expenses for the people in your team in Payfit or Oyster.

  • Who is eligible?

    If your commute to the office in Paris is longer than 1 hour, you are eligible!

    If you’re not usually eligible but are temporarily staying farther away from the office, you are eligible as long as your location calls for it.

  • Does it have to be a coworking specifically?

    No. We know coworkings are not easily accessible everywhere. You can work from other places, such as cafés, and submit the receipts for reimbursement.

    We trust you to choose appropriate venues for work and to stay professional (no alcohol). If in doubt, ask your manager if the place you’re planning to go can be eligible for reimbursement.
